Ervin F. Ludwiczak, 67, of Brookridge, died Tuesday (May 24, 1988) at HCA Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center.
He came here six years ago from his native South Milwaukee, Wis., and was a retired pattern maker. He was a member of Brookridge Golf Club and Hernando Beach Yacht Club.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; three sons, Michael and Ervin, both of Oak Creek, Wis., and Christopher, Spring Hill; one daughter, Linda Eaton, South Milwaukee; his mother, Katherine, South Milwaukee; one brother, John, Racine, Wis.; one sister, Lucille Venus, Cudahy, Wis., and five grandchildren. Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Brooksville.

Ervin registered for the draft in
South Milwaukee, WI on 14 February 1942 and
was inducted into the Army on 3 March 1943.
Pfc Ludwiczak was transferred from
Field Force Replacement Depot 19 to Service Company,
508th PIR on 28 May 1944. He was then
transferred to Hq 3rd on 24 July 1944
He was discharged on 26 June 1945. His military decorations include
Combat Infantryman Badge for action during Normandy,
France Campaign, 6 June 1944 to 9 July 1944 and the
Bronze Service Arrowhead device for the Holland
campaign and Airborne operations |
