On June 1 2, 2000 HARRY BROWN LYALL formerly from Auto, W VA, died at home in White Marsh, MD following a long illness. Survived
by wife Helen (nee Huskins , son Michael Lyall and his wife Laurie and daughter Debra Stiefel and her husband Stephen, granddaughters Rachel Stiefel, Julia Rose
Lyall, sister Anna Ruth Crowley of Auto, W VA and a brother Paul Lyall
of Catawba, VA. Memorial will be held at 7 P.M. June 15 Trinity Assembly
of God, 2122 W. Joppa road, Lutherville, MD. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society

Harry registered for the draft in Lewisburg, WV.
On 15 February 1945, Pvt Lyall was transferred from
the 3rd Replacement Depot to Hq 3rd, 508 PIR.
Harry re-enlisted on 31 January 1946 and was
discharged on 2 August 1947.
His military decorations include the Combat
Infantryman Badge for the Battle of The Rhineland Campaign, from 15
February 1945 |
