ORFEO A. MARCELLI


Orfeo A. Marcelli. beloved husband of Josephine (nee Mauceri), dearest father of Mrs. Frank DiPenti (Marie), Fred and Robert, dearest grandfather of five, dear brother of Mrs. Ursanna Temcora (deceased), Mts. Victor Pedrola (Lana), Frenz (deceased), Mrs. Angelo Dibaggio (Connie), and Mrs. Donald Hill (Rena), member of Wickline Lions Club.

Mass of Resurrection 10 a.m. Monday, March 6 at St. Justin Martyr Church.  The family will receive friends at the DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Rd., Mayfield Hts, O. (at Lander Rd) Sunday and 7-10 pm.

Grave marker for Orfeo A. Marcelli and spouse in Section 54, Lot 479-0 of the Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland (Cuyahoga county), Ohio.

Orfeo enlisted in the Army  at Cleveland, Ohio on 19 November, 1942.

He was wounded on 9 February 1945 in Belgium and evacuated to a field hospital.  He did not return to the regiment.

His military decorations included the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
