Grave marker for Grady Burdell Mars in Plot: A, Grave 814 of
the Salisbury National Cemetery , Salisbury (Rowan County), North Carolina.
Survivors included his wife, Mary Jane and daughter Sandy.
Grady apparently remained in the Army following the war and
then transferred to the U.S. Air Force after it was formed in September 1947
where he attained the rank of Technical Sergeant. |
