Among those seated was (#8) 2/Lt Richard W. McAtamney, Company G, who had been injured in action a month earlier in France.

Richard underwent treatment for his injury until May 1945 when he was discharged.  He survived until 1 May 1993.

Note that the first 18 names listed were a mix of officers and men; presumably all were casualties.  Lines 20 and 21 listed a medical technician and a nurse who were on board to care for the patients.
