Grave marker for Richard G. McCurdy in the East Troy Cemetery, Hydetown (Crawford), PA

Richard enlisted in the Army at Erie, PA on 1 June 1943 and was trained as a medic. 

Cpl McCurdy made the jump on D-Day, 6 June 1944 and was captured that same day. He was liberated in May 1945.
