Although he grew up in the Cody, WY area, Price attended
the Kemper Military Academy in Boonville, MO over 1100 miles away.
Enrolled as early as the eight grade, the journey was significant in
that era.
Following his graduation he was the owner and operator
of a bowling alley in Lovell, WY.
Although he had perhaps been driven at an early age to
be a military officer, Price only served between December 1942 to
December 1945. |
Price McGee was born in Wyoming on 6 October 1944.
His name appears in the booklet distributed at the 1995 Cody, Wyoming
reunion. He and three other deceased 508th veterans are stated to
have been interred in the riverside Cemetery, Cody, WY. A fifth
Wyoming native is buried in England. |
