Marker for Verlan R. McIntyre in Columbarium 4, Court I,
Stack 13, Niche 3 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington (Arlington),
Virginia.. Verlan enlisted in the Army at Ft
Devens, MA on 5 June 1944 and volunteered for parachutist duty.
Following basic raining and jump school Pvt McIntyre
was shipped to Europe. On 8 March 1945 he was transferred from the
11th Reinforcement Depot to Company C, 50p8th PIR.
Pfc McIntyre was discharged on 12 January 1946. |
