ARTHUR V. MCTIGUE
Arthur Vincent McTigue April 7, 1920 - April 8, 2006

   Art passed away peacefully and suddenly after a joyful celebration of his birthday the day before. He was born in Vermont, moved west as an adult and was a 28 year resident of the Town of Danville.
   Art is survived by, Eloise, his wife of 34 years; his son Terence McTigue and his wife Dorene; daughters Kathleen Boland and Margaret Huffman; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 older brothers.
   Art was proud of his Irish heritage and made great effort to assure that his children and the members of his large extended family were also aware of this heritage.
   Art proudly served as a paratrooper in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was well read on politics and loved this country.
   Art was an active member of the Church and a celebration of his life will occur at a Memorial service at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 22 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Danville. (925) 837-4993.
