FRANK M. MONCHEK


Monchek, Frank M., Jr. Age 87 years. Born to Eternal Life March 19, 2007 after a valiant battle with lung cancer.

Beloved and devoted husband for 65 years of Emily "Mimi" (nee Misko). Loving father of Francis, Thomas, and Jean (Brian) Hiller. Preceded in death by parents, Frank Sr. and Amalia, sisters, Pauline, Sr. Marianne SSND [School Sisters of Notre Dame] and Ann, and a brother, Paul. Survived by many relatives and friends include retiree buddies and exercise companions at St. Michael's Rehab.

Visitation Fri., March 23 at St. Bernadette Church, 8200 W. Denver Ave. from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Frank was a WW II US Army veteran, serving in Europe with the 82nd Airborne, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He was a member of the American Legion Erwin Uihlein Post #411. He was also a proud retiree from the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Co. after 34 years of service and member of Brewery Workers Local 9.
