| Mr. Arthur J. Mooney, age 82, a resident of Sparta, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Mooney was born July 28, 1930 in Georgetown, Massachusetts to the late George and Louise Martineaux Mooney. He was a retired electrician and had many hobbies including being a member of the Cumberland Arts Society where he was known for his water color painting.
He served in the U.S. Army 502 Airborne Division and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sparta.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by son Donald Wayne Mooney and daughter Diane Lynn Mooney.
