Cemetery, Marmet (Kanawha county), West Virginia.
Russell enlisted in the Army at Huntington, WV on 16
October 2 July 1942.
Pfc Morris was awarded the Bronze Arrowhead Device for action during
Aurellino campaign and Airborne operation 18 Aug 43 while a member of
the 509th Prcht Inf Bn. He was later transferred to the Hq 2nd
Company, 508th. |
