Electric Co., shows the Nicholas Nagurne family, of 1180 Vincent st.,
Philadelphia, the gifts they receive by becoming the company's one
millionth customer. he complete electric kitchen and other
appliances are valued at more than $8,000, the company said.
Nagurne is a paratroop veteran of World War II. He holds
the Purple Heart, two presidential unit citations and seven battle
stars.

Nicholas enlisted in the Army at Ft George G.
Meade, MD on 4 February 1942.
On 3 February 1945 Pvt Nagurne was transferred
from the 509th PIR to Co I, 508th PIR. He was discharged on 3
September 1945 at the Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, PA. [* reported as wounded in action in
the 2 December 1944 edition of the Delaware County Times, Chester,
PA, Dec 2, 1944. The incident occurred prior to his being
