Billie and Joy Nagy

 Billie and Joy Nagy August 16, 1931 - November 16, 2018

   Former Ashtabula residents, Billie and Joy Nagy, died tragically November 16, 2018 in Oxford, NC.
    Billie retired from Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company where he was employed as a result engineer. Joy was employed as a bookkeeper with Joe Timonere Insurance and later as a homemaker.
   Both were faithful to their church community serving at the Christian Life Academy and Women's Aglow Group in Ashtabula.
   They are survived by a daughter, Vanessa Rachele Nagy Milligan (fiancé Eric) of Bullock, NC; son, Bill Nagy (Amy) of Trinity, NC; and grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Madison Milligan.

 The Nagy's future son-in-law, Eric Groome notified us of these tragic joint deaths and stated that Billie and Joy were killed when their airmobile collided with another vehicle being operated by a 19-year-old drunk driver in Oxford, NC.  He also reported that Billie was in the 508th ARCT, 1951-54

Billie, of Ashtabula, OH and Naomi Joy Welch, of Fayetteville, NC were granted a marriage license in Fayetteville in 1960.
