Grave marker for Francis C. Neiport in the Fort
Palmer Cemetery, Ligonier (Westmoreland), Pennsylvania.
Francis enlisted in the army at enlisted at
Greensburg, PA on 22 December 1943. He was assigned to the
508hgt as a replacement following the Normandy campaign and saw
combat in Holland as well as the Battle of the Bulge.
Pfc Neiport was awarded the Combat Infantryman
Badge for action during The Ardennes campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb
