WELLINGTON AMES NEWCOMB
(Class of) '46, LL.B. (Class of) '53, died January 17, 2000 in New York City. He had been an attorney in private practice in New York since 1960.  He served in the army during World War II with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.  He leaves his wife, Nancy (Dickson), two daughters, Amelia (Class of) '80 and Alice, and a son, John.

Grandfather of Matthew and Harlan Trevithick. Member of Kent School Class of '42, Harvard '46 and Harvard Law '53. Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, 1954-56. Private law practice since 1960. Member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and Holland Lodge #8.
