Nix, 61, a resident of the Moores Lake Road, Dover, will be held Tuesday, February 15, 1983 at 11 a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. M.D. Lampp, officiating. Interment in Hopewell Memorial Gardens. Gentlemen selected to serve as pallbearers are requested to please meet at the Chapel at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Robert registered for the draft in Double Springs, AL on 16 February 1942 and was inducted into the Army at Fort McClellan, AL on 1 August 1942.

Pfc Nix was discharged on 17 October 1945
