Grave marker for Antonio L. Pacheco in Plot 20, Grave 1029 of the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside (Riverside), CA

Antonio enlisted in the Army at Los Angeles, CA on 8 May 1943 and was assigned to Company E, 508th PIR.

Pvt Pacheco was wounded in action in Belgium on 24 December 1944 but was able to return to duty on 27 February 1945.

His military decorations include the Purple Heart and the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for the Holland campaign and Airborne operations
