Grave markers for Loyd Adolph Painter in the Stanley Advent Cemetery, Stanley (Page) county, Virginia.

Loyd enlisted in the Army at Richmond, VA on 12 March 1943 and was assigned to Co F, 508th PIR.

Pvt Painter was transferred to Company D on 20 August 1943 and the to Hq & Hq Co AB Command Cp Mackall on 27 November 1943.  He did not return to the regiment.
