LLOYD R. PARO

Lloyd Richard Paro, 78, Duluth, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003 at Lakeshore Lutheran Home. He was born in Grand Marais on May 10, 1924, to Charles and Carrie Drulliard LeSage Paro and was a graduate of Grand Marais High School.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II serving with the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper during the Normandy Invasion. Lloyd had worked as a self employed carpenter throughout Northern Minnesota.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Irene Sullivan, Violet Keelor, Grace Nordin and Mary Baker. He is survived by his brother, Roger Paro, Duluth; nephews, Gerald Baker, Duluth, Charles Paro, Chicago, Gary Paro, Grand Portage, Frank Paro, Blaine, Minn., Steven Paro, Hinckley, Minn., Ralph Paro, Lakeville, Minn., Donald Paro, Plymouth, Minn., and Bruce Paro, Lakeville, Minn; nieces, Ginny Kellor, Ariz., Mary Liz Sandstrom, Maryland, Dawn Paro-Strother, Duluth.

VISITATION:3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. Memorial service Saturday at Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home.
