Grave marker for Frank Passery in Section 34, Lot 11, Grave 0, Marathon Village Cemetery, Marathon (Cortland county), New York.

Pvt Passery was transferred from the Reception Center, Fort Niagara, NY to Co C, 508th PIR on 20 October 1942, one of the first enlistees to arrive at Camp Blanding, FL.

He was appointed to the grade of Pfc on 9 December 1942.  He was further escalated to Cpl on 27 April 1943 and again to Sgt on 22 May 1943.

Sgt Passery was then transferred to the 541st PIR, Ft Benning, GA on 16 August 1943.
