Grave marker for Gaither E. Patterson in the Nix Cemetery, Nix (Lampasas
county), Texas.Although the stone has not yet
been engraved to reflect the date of his death, which occurred on 27
November 2002, his 84th birthday. His wife preceded him in 1994.
Gaither enlisted in the Army at San Antonio, TX on 13
July 1942. He served with Company E, 508th during 1945 having been
transferred from another parachute infantry unit. |
