Guido C. Pelini

Pelini, Guido C. age 80 years, WWII Veteran, U.S. Army; Paratrooper with the 508 Division Landing in Normandy on June 6, 1944. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Popkin-Kennedy), loving father of Charles (Tracy) Pelini, dearest step-father of Martin Kennedy and the late Karen Kennedy, proud grandfather of James Pelini and Robert Egan, devoted brother of Norma (William) Smith and Lee (John) Pusateri, fond uncle of William (Charlene), Judy (Michael), James (Amber) and Donna (William), cherished friend to many. Visitation Friday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m., from The Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St., Orland Park, to St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Guido's name to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W.
