ARTHUR W. PUFFER

Grave marker for Arthur W. Puffer in the Greenmount Cemetery, Durango (La Plata county) Colorado.

Arthur was a member of Company H during WWII.  Born in 1911, his age was a decade or more greater than most men in the unit so he had the nickname of "Pop".

Sadly, his son Arthur W. Puffer Jr. [1935-1966] is buried in this same cemetery.  Arthur Jr.'s wife Jean lies alongside of him.  Both died in 1966, perhaps in an accident.
