FRANK A. RAMBO
Born in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, but lived most of his life in the Tacoma area.

Graduated from Walla Walla High School

During WWII, he served as a Army officer rising to the rank of Captain.

He had just completed his memoirs entitled " Sharing Memories ", about his experience as a member of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

Columbia Brewing Company
Pacific National Bank of Washington as a bank officer

Frank was married 50 years to LuLu Rambo who preceded him in death. In 1988 he married Margaret Knodel.

Active member of the Mission Woods Presbyterian Church of Milton. He served on various Olympia Regional Presbyterian committees for 30-40 years. He was proud of his service to the Lord. Frank donated many hours for many years to keeping the church grounds beautiful. Truly a kind, gentle and giving soul.

Grave marker for Frank A. ad Lulu G. Rambo in the Sumner Cemetery, Sumner (Pierce), Washington.

1st Lt Rambo was transferred  from the 82d A/B Division Leicester, England replacement depot as a platoon leader in Company D, 508th.  He served with the regiment for the remainder of the war.
