KENNETH T. REYNOLDS

Grave marker for Kenneth T. Reynolds in the Sterling Cemetery, Sterling (Sanpete county), Utah.

Kenneth enlisted in San Francisco on 11 April 1942 and volunteered to be a parachutist.

He was assigned to the 507trh PIR.  After earning his jump wings he was transferred to the 508th PIR member of the cadre team and was assigned to Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion..

He was captured in Normandy, France on 6 June 1944 and interned in Stalag 4F for the next eleven months.

On 20 May 1945 Pvt Reynolds appeared on a roster of men from California who had been librated from various POW camps.   The list comprised  Movement Orders RO Group, E 1027-14, assigned for movement as liberated prisoners of war,.

His address for recuperation is shown as 22219 Lake Chabot Rd, Hayward, CA and was probably his parent's home.
