EMERSON R. RIORDAN

Grave markers for Emerson R. Riordan at Plot 279-3-1 in the Oakland Rural Cemetery, Porter Center (Niagara county), New York.

Emerson enlisted in the Army on 12 May 1939.  His early service history is not known but he may have been one of the men transferred from the 507th PIR when it was inactivated in 1945.

Pvt Riordan was awarded the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for his role in the Holland campaign and Airborne operations.
