Johnny enlisted in the
Army at Ft Jackson, Columbia, SC on 5 October 1942 and was assigned to
Company A, 508th PIR.
Pfc Roberts was captured
on D-Day, 6 June 1944 in Normandy. He was released from Stalag 4A
in 1945. |
