WILLIAM H. ROBISON
U.S. Army PFC William Hayes Robison was a WWII Veteran. Mr. Robison was a retired salesman for Duck's Carpet.

Husband of Marth (Rawdon) Robison, also leaves two daughters, Annette Robison of Henderson and Kay Tucker of Chattanooga; a son, Gary Robison of Finger; his mother, Molene Robison of Henderson; four sisters, Marie Smith and Jo Lee Mayfield, both of Henderson, and Irene Myers of Memphis and Kate Sanford of Troy; four brothers, Ray Robison of Humboldt, Bobby Robison of Finger, and Sam Robison and Dennie Robison, both of Memphis, and three grandchildren.

William enlisted at Valparaiso, IN and volunteered for parachutist duty.

His early military service record is unknown but in 1945 he was transferred to Company C, 508th PIR where he received the Good Conduct medal on 11 July 1945.
