Grave marker for Rumaldo Santos Robledo in Section 58B, Site 2151, Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside (Riverside county), California.

Rumaldo registered for the draft ca. 1942 and enlisted in the Army at Houston, TX on 10 May 1943.

Details regarding Pvt Robeldo's arrival in the 508th are unavailable but it is known that he was assigned to Company A, 508th PIR.

He was promoted to Pfc on 1 January 1945.

Pfc Robledo was wounded in action in Belgium on 2 February 1945 and evacuated.  He returned to duty with the company on 29 May 1945.

He was discharged from the army on 21 January 1947.

Ten years later, he was employed as a porter on the Chicago and North Western Railroad.
