Carmen
A. Roffo registered for the draft ca 1941 and was inducted into the Army
at Philadelphia, PA on 20 April 1943. Pvt Roffo
was injured in action on 28 December 1944 and returned to the unit
on 19 February 1945.
He was discharged at Unit B, Indiantown Gap Military
Reservation, PA on 23 December 1945.
His military decorations include the Bronze Service
Arrowhead device awarded for he Holland campaign and Airborne operations
On 17 January 1950, Carmen submitted this application
for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus. He was credited with 14
months of domestic duty and 18 months of foreign service and awarded a
$410 bonus payment. |
