DENCIL L. ROGERS
Dencil Leon Rogers, 67, of Lebanon, died Tuesday afternoon, June 27, 2000, in Lebanon [MO]..

He was born April 4, 1933, near Decaturville [MO], to Hubert Rogers and Wilda Miller Rogers. On March 26, 1977, he married Sally Ann Christ, who survives. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Donald Rogers.
 
Dencil graduated from Lebanon High School. He served in the United States Army Parachute Forces, and was stationed in Korea and Vietnam during his years of military service, retiring in 1970. Since retiring he operated a lawn mowing service. He was a longtime member of the V.F.W. Post #4107 in Lebanon.

Survivors include his wife, Sally, of the home; two sons, Hubert Leroy Rogers, serving in the U.S. Army and stationed in Korea; and Lee Rogers of Lebanon; three daughters, Jennifer Wease, of Holts Summit; Paula Agan of Jefferson City; and Leslie Dube of the state of New Hampshire; his mother, Wilda Rogers, of Lebanon; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial for Dencil L. Rogers were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 30, 20000, in Veterans' Park in Mount Rose Memorial Park, with Mike Phelan officiating. Full Military Rites were held at graveside.
