Grave marker for Robert E. Salkeld in the
Mount Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Breezewood (Bedford), Pennsylvania.
Robert enlisted in the Army at Harrisburg, PA on 5 January
1942. TSgt Salkeld was transferred
to Service Company, Det #1 from Hq 82nd Airborne Division on 27 February
1945 and was assigned to the Parachute Maintenance Section. He was
discharged on 27 September 1945. |
