Columbarium marker for Lawrence R. Sanders on Wall 1, Row B,
Site 22 in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman (Medina
county), Ohio. Lawrence enlisted in the army at
Akron, OH on 17 July 1943.
His initial service period is unknown but he apparently
was transferred to the 508th in Germany in the latter half of 1945.
The only instance of his name on 508th records is on list
of Co E men sailing on Queen Mary from Southampton to NYC on 3 January 1946. |
