ROBERT SCHAFFERMAN

   Robert Schafferman, Sr., 47, of 13 Monticello Rd.,  Jefferson Farms, New Castle, died yesterday morning at Delaware Division, apparently of a heart attack.

   Mr. Schafferman was born in Long Green, Md., and had been a resident of the Wilmington area for most of his life.  He had been a truck driver for Eastern Freightways for the last 20 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1578, New Caste, and the Asbury United Methodist Church, Wilmington Manor.

   He is survived by his wife, Janice E. Schafferman; three sons, Robert Jr., Fort Bragg, NC, and Karl and Richard, both at home. a daughter, Margaret, at home; his mother Mrs. Ruth Schafferman, of Wilmington; four brothers, Wilbur, of Delaware City, and James, Joseph and William, all of Wilmington; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Geiger, Mrs.. Betty Latch, Mrs. Anita Russell and Mrs. Barbara Allen, all of Wilmington.

   Services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 at the Gebhart Funeral Home 531 Delaware St., New Castle,. with interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park.  Friends may call tomorrow night at the funeral home.
