Albert Scotti, Sr.

- Albert Scotti, Sr., 79, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2002, at
Cape Canaveral Hospital, in Cocoa Beach [FL].
Mr. Scotti was born in Carnegie, PA. He came to Brevard
county in 1991 from Pennsylvania.
He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II
with the 82nd Airborne. He was the recipient of a Distinguished
Unit Badge, an American Campaign Medal, a European/African medal, a
Distinguished Service medal with four bronze stars, and a World War II
Victory medal for the Belgian Fourragére [all sic].
Me. Scotti was a member of the DAV in Merritt Island and the 508th
Chapter of the 82nd Airborne in Pennsylvania.
He was also a member of Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach.
Me. Scotti is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Scotti of
Cocoa; son Albert J. (Karen) Scotti Jr. of Merritt Island; daughter
Theresa (Robert) Coburn of Pittsburgh, PA; Lisa (Tommy) Moore of Viera
[FL], and Linda Scotti of Titusville [FL]; and two grandchildren, Abby
Moore ad Kaitlyn Scotti.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, December
15th at Church of Our Saviour. Burial will follow in Florida
Memorial Gardens.
Florida Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
