(Arlington county), Virginia. Forrest enlisted in
the Army at Fort Hayes, Columbus, OH on 17 June 1942.
The July edition of the Devils Digest announced that
Forrest was one of the en who departed for various school assignments.
The Company H Morning report for 2 August 1943 stated he
was transferred from Detached Service at The Citadel, Charleston, SC to the
ASTP (Army
Specialized Training Program) Unit at the
School of Engineering, Newark, NJ.
He did not return to the regiment. |
