Grave marker for Dock Singletary in the Charter Oak Cemetery
(St. Tammany Parish), Louisiana.
Dock enlisted in the Army at New Orleans, LA on 10 July 1942
and volunteered for parachutist duty. After completion of jump school
he was sent overseas to the 82nd Airborne Division in England.
Pvt Singletary transferred to Service Company, 508th briefly
before he was reassigned to the 16th Replacement Depot. |
