WALLACE C. STEFFEN

Wallace C. Steffen, 77, died Thursday afternoon, March 25, 1999, in Grandview Healthcare Center, Oelwein, after a long illness.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Maynard, by the Rev. Ervin Hesterberg. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, with military rites. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Maynard, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include a son, Leo Steffen of Maynard; two daughters, Deanna Boedeker of Goose Creek, S.C., and Dellores Simpson of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Karen Weston of Fayette; and two brothers, Ronald Steffen of Stanley and Leo J. Steffen Jr. of West Des Moines.
