LESLIE TAYLOR
SUGAR GROVE: Leslie "Edward" Taylor, 78, Sugar Grove, Ohio, passed away on December 31, 2009, at the residence after a short battle with cancer.
   Born on January 30, 1931 on Eight Mile Road in Leon, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Samuel Herbert Taylor and Lizie Izora (Burgess) Taylor Hudson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Jean (Plants) Taylor of Sugar Grove, Ohio; two sons, Lacey Taylor of Sugar Grove and Larry (Julia) Taylor of Nelsonville, Ohio; two daughters, Pamela Sullivan of Sugar Grove and Connie Taylor of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sisters, Garnet Hordabay and Juanita Clark; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
   Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Dennis Taylor and Kenneth Taylor and two infant brothers.
   Burial with military honors will be given 1 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Eddy Chapel Cemetery, Leon, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eddy Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Terry Gillespie, 4048 Budd-Chattin Road, Leon, West Virginia. Arrangements are by Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
