Grave markers for Tibor Z. Temesvary in Saint Josephs
Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Summit Township (Monroe county), Ohio.
On 22 February 1952 Tibor arrived in New York City, NY
aboard the SS Gen.. M. B. Stewart at age 16. He was accompanied by his
parents and a brother (lines 16 - 19). Note that they are listed as
'Stateless.".
He enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 17 years on 26 August
1953
A native of Budapest, Hungary, Tibor petitioned for naturalization as an
American citizen on 15 January 1954, his petition was honored on 22 January
1954. He and his two witnesses were all listed as Sergeants from Fort
Campbell, KY |
