WILLIAM A. TROW
William A. Trow

   William A. Trow, age 30, who was fatally injured June 26 at Palatine [IL], was laid to rest at Ridgewood Cemetery June 19,
   He was the father of Loretta May Trow of Hollywood, Calf., son of Mrs. Elaine Dombrowsky of Palatine and brother of Walter Trow of St. Paul, Minn, Herbert O. Trow of Chicago, Mrs. Jack Powell of Inkstu, Mich., Mrs. T. L. Hinley of Ft. Worth, Texas, and August and Robert Dombrowsky, Palatine.
   He was a veteran of World War II, as a member of the 101st airborne division serving in the European theatre.  He was taken prisoner in Bastogne January 3, 1945.  After having escaped he returned to his ranks and was discharged from Gardner general hospital on Feb 12, 1946,

William enlisted the Army at Chicago, IL on 17 September 1942.

Pvt Trow first appeared in Service Company Morning Reports in August 1943.

He was later transferred to the 101st Airborne Division, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment.

He was honorably discharged on 14 February 1946
