TRULL, Giles M. "Jiggs,"
71, formerly of Marble, N.C., who moved to Plant City, Fla., in 1968,
went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2008. He fought a long, hard
battle with cancer.
He was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army, and worked
as a tunnel worker in upstate New York.
Upon moving to Tampa, he worked
for National Trucking, where he retired as a teamster after 30 plus
years. He loved to fish and hunt. He was a loving husband, devoted father,
grandfather and a faithful friend.
He was predeceased by his father,
Raleigh A. Trull; mother, Blanche Beck; stepfather, Jesse Beck; grandmother,
Esther Coffey; grandfather, Smith Coffey; and brother, Bill Trull.
He
is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Solita C. Trull; son, Raleigh
Trull and wife, Carol; daughter, Tammy Carroll and husband, Bruce; five
grandchildren, Jesse Trull, Jeremiah Trull, Brittney Carroll, Michelle
Milcher, Lisa Collinsworth; two sisters, Brenda Daugherty and husband,
Jack and Barbara Ratliff and husband, Ron; and many nieces and nephews
and friends.
Those who knew him loved him very much. He will be greatly
missed.
The family will receive friends, and a small ceremony will take
place, 10 a.m.-noon., October 25, 2008, at their residence, 8601 Back
Road Plant City, Fla.
