Grave marker for Albert R. Vanaudestrade in Section. O Row C,
Site 137 OF the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent (King County),
Washington. Pfc Vanaudestrade was a member of
the 508th Band which effective 27 May 1944 was reorganized as the
112th Army Ground Forces Band. At some time
Albert was transferred to another 508th company or perhaps even a
different combat unit as his marker indicates that he received the
Purple Heart.. |
