Grave markers for Donald N. VerHage and his wife Lois in
the Georgetown Township Cemetery, Hudsonville, Ottawa County, Michigan.
Donald, a member of Hq 1st, was severely wounded in
France on 9 July 44 and evacuated to a field hospital. He did not
return to the unit and may have been sent back to the U.S. for further
treatment and discharge. |
