Michael
first registered with the draft board on 16 April 1942 and enlisted in the Army at Pittsburgh, PA on 15 May 1942.
Michael submitted this
application for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans bonus on 1 February 1950.
He was credited with 16 months of domestic duty and 22 months of foreign
service which earned him a $330 bonus.
For some
reason draft record was re-issed..
Its handwritten amendment indicates he was discharged on 29 June 1945.
That date agrees with the entry on the bonus application. |
