Grave marker for Elmer Ross Webb in the Heath Banks Cemetery, Carroll County, VA


WEBB, Elmer Ross, 70, of Fancy Gap, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 1997, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born March 3, 1926 in West Virginia to Christie and Tula Dickens Webb. He is survived by his wife, Earlene Webb of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Charlotte Webb, Oviedo, Fla.; sister, Reba Durban, Plain City, Ohio; brother, Marvin Webb, Altamonte Springs, Fla. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 7, 1997, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Interment will be in Heath Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville. Military rites by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Iva Easter, Route 3, Box 632, Hillsville, Va. 24343.
