EARL E. WENIGER

Earl Weniger
   GENESEO, III Earl E. Weniger, 60, of Geneseo died Friday while on a business trip to Omaha, Neb.
   Private services will be held 11 am Monday at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal where military rites will be conducted.
   Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.
    He was employed as Peoria district manager for Picker International of Omaha.
   Mr. Weniger married Bonnie Himmelman in 1960 in Geneseo.
  He was a paratrooper in World War IL
   Survivors include his wife; daughters, Katie Weniger, Ames, Iowa, and Cynthia Limp, Rockport, Ind.; and a brother, Charles, SL Louis.

Earl registered for the draft ca. 1941 while still a junior in high school.  He graduated from Arlington Heights High School, Fort Worth, TX  in 1942.

He was inducted into the Army on 11 March 1943.

Pvt Weniger was transferred from the 6900th Reinforcement Depot to Company C, 508th PIR on 3 June 1945.

He was discharged on 16 April 1946.
