ALBERT A. WISE

Grave marker for Albert A. Wise in Sunset Hill Memorial Park, Cranberry (Venango county), Pennsylvania. 

Note the inscription "WWII PFC US ARMY PFC" above the 82nd Airborne insignia.

Albert enlisted in the Army at Erie, PA on 31 May 1943.

Pfc Wise was transferred from Hq 82d Airborne Division to Hq 2nd, 508th PIR on 23 July 1944.

He was discharged from the Army on 4 January 1946 at the Separation Center, Indian Gap Military Reservation, PA.

His military decorations include the Bronze Service Arrowhead device awarded for the Holland campaign and Airborne operations.
