JAMES M. YAKEY

MISSING IN ACTION

   Shelbyville, Ill. --- Mr. and Mrs. Murvin Yakey of Houston, Tex., former Shelbyville residents, have received word that their son, Pvt James M. Yakey, has been missing in action since June 8.  He was serving with the airborne infantry and was one of the first paratroopers to land in France.  He attended Shelbyville schools while residing here

ANYONE KNOWING THE WHEREABOUTS OF MRS. JAMES YAKEY, NEE FRANCES HOOTEN, PLEASE CONTACT HOME-SERVICE-RED CROSS HEADQUARTERS, OR PHONE 448 AT ONCE.

We are unaware of the outcome for Mrs. Yakey as no other mention of her has been found.

KERRVILLE - Services for James M. Yakey, 78, of Concan, Texas, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, in a local hospital, are pending at Wright's Funeral Parlor of Kerrville.
